- 1990 to Present: Teacher - American International School of Budapest, Budapest, Hungary. I am presently employed as a grade five teacher. I also served as grade level coordinator for three years. I served as coordinator of the elementary after-school activity program from 1992-1995. I taught grade two from 1990-1993 and grade four from 1994-2009.

- 2005: The Top 10 Ways to Ruin The First Day of 5th Grade received the honor of being a "Children's Choices Novel for 2005" by the Children's Book Council and the International Reading Association.
